Sales Development Representative

We're working with a rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) business, pioneering a product that drives board effectiveness for decision-makers and directors.

This organisation has been helping boards to make smarter, faster decisions for 18 years and have turned that knowledge into a saas solution for the past eight years. With over 31,000 users engaged on the platform, you will have the chance to work with FTSE 100s, large privately owned companies, public sector and government departments.

120 people today and growing fast. As they grow, they're fiercely protective of their friendly, high-performing culture. With over 14 nationalities represented, the team is diverse and friendly, and most days you’ll find a social event or learning opportunity to get involved with – even in these remote working times.

Role Description

This is a real responsibility. You’ll work closely with commercial leaders (incl. VP Sales, Co-CEOs, Marketing and more) to identify market opportunities, plan and prepare for engagements with potential clients, develop and nurture relationships and play a key role in partnering with experienced business development leaders to land and grow the footprint of this new product as we take it to market.

This varied role will give you hands-on experience across a range of strategic initiatives - comprising everything it takes to build something from the ground up, with the support and guidance of a team wholly invested in its success. And because our clients are the board members and c-suite executives of some of the world’s largest organisations, you’ll be working with a lens into what it takes to run companies.

Developing the market: Conduct research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth; support with planning and delivery to capitalise on those opportunities; manage the planning and delivery of events; plan, manage and participate in interviews with Chairmen/women, CEOs and Execs.

Prospecting: Identify prospective client companies and key contacts within them, reaching out to establish relationships and initiate sales conversations.

Nurturing Contacts: Educate and engage our existing network. Identify and partner on opportunities to progress sales.

Partnering on sales conversations: Partner with Business Development leads on strategic deals - planning, research, meeting attendance and participation.
