Role: Business Development Executive 

Salary: £35K + 30K OTE Uncapped (top performers are bringing home 110K) 

 

Organisation overview: I'm working with the market leader in invoice finance - a cash flow solution changing the game for contingent businesses such as recruitment agencies, consultancies, labour marketplaces and more. 

In the next decade, the embedded finance market opportunity will be worth over $7tn, or roughly double the market value of the world’s top 40 banks today. 

Working with thousands of businesses from startups to enterprises, the platform and APIs to fund their contingent workforce and scale faster. No more waiting 60+ days for money to come in, they fund up to 100% of the invoice as quickly as under 24 hours. They use their APIs to embed funding, credit risk and partner services into the websites, apps and systems. 

 

About the role: 

  • Role: Heavy outbound element, signing up startup businesses onto the platform for free and when they start to use it you make 2% of the company fee. 

  • 2 office days per week (1 London office day a fortnight for Cardiff reps)

  • Quota: 8-10 Companies signed on per month 

  • Avg cycle: A few hours - 1 week

  • Lead Generation: 80% Outbound, no SDR’s but has LOTS of inbound. 

  • Selling into: Contingent businesses such as recruitment agencies, consultancies, labour marketplaces and more

  • Must be driven, good communicator, confident, intelligent, coachable and likes hitting phones.
